The original goal of this project was to extract data from
our server (130.233.18.145), through a
observer, who would connect to the server, receive data and exit, but as it
progressed, it became clear, that moving the observer would not be
difficult, so soon all resources were and still are used to make him fight.
The original goal has now been scrapped, as the
qranking was made. Now the project is
focusing on the protocol, and increasing the AI.
Most of the bugs causing coredumps have been removed, making the bot
fairly stable, but rest assured, that new bugs will be made, as the
code grows :) The AI of the bot has improved somewhat, mainly when
in water. Otherwise the statement stands: when it comes to his AI,
he is somewhere between a brick and an ostrich. This he makes up
with a lethal aim, and lightning fast turning.
Currently the playmate-group is focusing on developing a Qrouter,
which basically is a combined GPS and firecontrol.

Ok, so we haven't given out any of the protocol :( Anyway Rorie &
Simmerman has most of it on their pages, so we propably wont do it
in the future either.
Neither have we made _any_ part of the source nor binary public, and
propably won't do it either, so don't ask for it. Reason? Stooge!
BTW. the bot-program is written totally in c, not in qc as some people
erraneously have assumed, and runs alone, without an underlying
client-quake. Each bot connecting to a specific server must have
different ip-adress.
